- The vision of Mission
- Media for whom and by whom?
- Strengths and weaknesses of different media
- Media in Church - Why and how to use media in mission work
- Making the first radio program with simple means - try to do it and create questions which are to be answered in later courses.
- Issues involving the communication of the Christian Faith
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- Define what roles different media have as link between the audience and the media actors.
- Identify what role the audience must play in effective communication.
- Define the possibilities of media used by church in mission
- Identify the basic procedures of making a radio program
- Identify the needed knowledge and skills, which have to be developed in order to be a Radio Producer
- Describe challenges facing the Christian communicator
