DM Audience Relations II

Counselling, psychology and organisation of audience relations work.

Welcome to the Audience Relations II Course! This is a course that follows DM Audience Relations I and I look forward to interesting interaction with you all during this course. Here is a brief presentation of this course.

Major areas covered:

At the end of the course the student will be able to:

  • Characterise the different types of personalities among people and know how to deal with them
  • Explain what happens with a person in crisis and how to help during the different phases
  • Do counselling work
  • Explain what is meant by felt needs and real needs, and how to act as a helper/counsellor.
  • Perform a debriefing
  • Be an active listener when discussing with people
  • Be aware of the necessity of Counselling for the Counsellor
  • Organise a good follow-up work
  • Organise listeners clubs
